Life does not always go as planned. You may feel stuck in stress or grief, or simply tired of holding a story by yourself.
People often look for “counseling” when what they mean is: a safe person, a closed door, and enough time. Those are fair things to want. The honest version of Eden is that we offer support and education, not a therapy practice.
What you can expect
A confidential visit. Licensed medical staff for testing and limited ultrasound. Advocates who will not rush you. Free care, because we do not take insurance for these services.
What you should not expect: a diagnosis, a treatment plan for depression or trauma, or a weekly counseling slot. If that is what you need, we would rather say so and help you think about licensed clinicians in the community than blur the line.
A starting point anyway
Sometimes the first true sentence is easier to say in a medical setting that is not your family, not your church, and not a comment section. That can still be worth an hour.
Request an appointment. If you already know you need after-abortion support, say that. If you only know you are overwhelmed, that is a complete reason to come in.
