Finding out you might be pregnant can arrive like a wave: fear, pressure, confusion, relief, panic. When that much shows up at once, what most people need is not a speech. It is a room that will not leak.
A private conversation
We have heard excitement, grief, and the sentence “I don’t know” said very quietly. If you are looking for a non-judgmental place to talk through your situation, staff here will listen. You can ask how you might tell a partner. You can say you are worried about school, money, or timing. You can say this was never the plan.
Maybe you are considering abortion. Maybe a friend treated it as small. Maybe someone offered to order pills. Those are weighty decisions. You deserve accurate information, not pressure from anyone else — including us.
Abortion services or referrals are not within our scope of practice. We will still sit with the questions. Read more on knowing your options.
Start with what is true in the body
Home tests can be wrong. Common signs of pregnancy can mean something else. A clinic test and limited OB ultrasound can tell you whether a pregnancy is viable, where it is located, and how far along you are. That is not stalling. That is refusing to decide in the dark.
Request an appointment. Tell us how we may reach you. We will take the time you need, face to face.
